Third International Forum of Education Ministers "Shaping the Future"
As part of the Science and Technology Decade (2022–2031) announced by President Vladimir Putin, the city of Kazan hosted the Third International Forum of Education Ministers, "Shaping the Future," on June 11–12.
Over 100 foreign guests from 32 countries attended the forum. The Russian Ministry of Education organized the event in collaboration with the Government of Tatarstan and with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In his video address to the participants, President Putin emphasized that education should preserve national identity while supporting cultural and traditional diversity.
In his video address, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov highlighted the role of educators in shaping the worldview of the younger generation. He also underscored Russia’s commitment to fostering mutually respectful educational partnerships based on recognizing the world’s cultural and civilizational diversity.
The forum facilitated bilateral and multilateral discussions and the exchange of ideas on potential solutions to pressing educational challenges, the development of national education systems, the introduction of digital innovations, and international educational cooperation.
